LaFayette Ramblers

The LaFayette Ramblers are now 9-2 overall and 8-0 in the NGAC after a 51-22 rout of Trion in south Walker County on Tuesday.

Junior Barber had a team-high 17 points for LaFayette, followed by Aidan Hadaway with nine and Chase Dillinger with seven. Jaylon Ramsey, Chase Landon and Kendall Culbreth each added four points. Gray Payton and Jordan Kennerly both finished with two and Grant Langford also contributed for the Ramblers in the win.

Individual scoring for the Bulldogs (2-6 in NGAC) was not provided as of press time.

The girls' contest saw an exciting finish as Pasley Lawrence sunk two free throws with 0.8 left on the clock to provide the margin of victory in Trion's 28-26 victory over LaFayette.

Lawrence finished with 8 points as Trion (3-5 in NGAC) finished with 13 fourth quarter points in the victory.

Heather Tucker had eight points for the Lady Ramblers (1-7 in NGAC). Michaela Baker added six points, while Shelley Warren and Haley Fisher had four each.
