Heritage Generals

Marcus Hagler had 16 points and 10 boards to help lead the Heritage Generals to a 61-17 win over Saddle Ridge on Thursday night.

It was a balanced scoring night for the Generals (3-1). Carson Green had nine points with two assists and two steals, followed by Bryce Travillian with seven points, four rebounds and two steals and Jacob Lozano (2 assists, 2 rebounds, 2 steals) and Marcus Fortson (two steals) with six each.

The rest of the scoring was rounded out by Collin Swearingin (2 steals) and Hayden Hall (2 rebounds) with four points, Kaden Swope (2 steals) with three points, Donte Harris (5 rebounds), Cecil Bussey (2 steals) and Donnie Nepp (4 rebounds) with two. Ryan Heet (3 rebounds, 2 steals) and Ty Loveless (1 rebound) also contributed in the win.

Kevin Kremb had seven points for the Mustangs (0-5). Teddy Ownby and Austin Fitzpatrick both had three points. Landen Morgan added two, while Braeden Holland and Will Snider picked up one each.

Heritage JV boys 38, Saddle Ridge 19

Cole Spears had 11 points for the Mustangs in the loss. Jaiden Smith added five, while Greyson Potts scored three.

Heritage Lady Generals were forced into 26 turnovers, but held Saddle Ridge to just 7-of-54 shooting from the field and picked up a 29-18 win on Thursday.

The Lady Generals improved to 3-1 overall with the win. Individual statistics were not provided as of press time.

Lexi Baker still managed a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Mykeria Johnson had 10 boards to go with two points for Saddle Ridge (3-2). FanTasja Barber had two points and four rebounds. Haynie Gilstrap added two points and three boards, while Samantha Cramer and Madison Sisemore each collected five rebounds.

Heritage JV girls 29, Saddle Ridge 13

In the JV matchup, Alethea Hendrix had five points for the Lady Mustangs. Aria Shirley added four, while Kiley Hubbard and Olivia Hitchcox each had two.
