LaFayette Ramblers

LaFayette's Middle School Ramblers began their baseball season with an 8-2 win at Chattooga on Tuesday in a game that was shortened to five innings due to darkness.

Skylar Cepeda started on the hill for LaFayette, allowing just one hit and three walks with two strikeouts in two innings. for the Ramblers. Chase Landon followed, giving up two runs - one earned - with two strikeouts and a walk in two innings. Ethan Adams pitched the final innings, walking one and fanning one.

Offensively, Ross Martin was 2-for-3 with a triple and drove in three of the Rambles' runs. Austin Tucker went 1-for-2 and scored twice, while Cade Fisher also scored twice in the win.
