Oakwood Christian Eagles

The Oakwood Christian Lady Eagles got balanced scoring at home on Monday and beat visiting Learning Tree, 47-27.

OCA (3-1) led 13-5 at the end of the first quarter and extended its advantage to 29-11 by halftime. The Lady Eagles would close out the third on an 11-0 run to put the game away for good.

Eight different players got in the scoring column, led by Lily Green's 14 points. Annika Green had 10 points, 12 rebounds, six assists and four blocked shots, while Lexie Asher had eight points and nine rebounds.

Grayson Broadrick chipped in with five points and four blocks. Mary Ownby and Madi Phillips had four points apiece, while Callie Ray and Anslee Tucker each had one point.

OCA will look to make it four straight wins when they play at Apostolic of Maryville on Thursday. The Lady Eagles won the first meeting, 48-31, on Nov. 16 to begin their current winning streak.
