The Gordon Lee Trojans led 7-0 after one quarter on Friday night, but couldn't generate any more points and dropped their third game in a row, losing to visiting North Cobb Christian, 21-7.
The Eagles took a 13-7 lead at intermission after a pair of second-quarter scores. They tacked on a TD pass in the third quarter and converted on the 2-point run. Gordon Lee looked to get back in the game in the fourth, but turned the ball over on downs inside the Eagles' 5-yard line with seven minutes to play.
No further details on the game were available as of press time.
North Cobb Christian (3-5 overall, 2-3 in Region 6A-A) will play at Bowdon this Friday, while Gordon Lee (2-6, 1-4) will host rival Trion, who knocked Mt. Zion from the ranks of the unbeatens with a 34-20 victory.
