The Ridgeland Lady Panthers finally ended their skid with a 59-56 win at rival LFO on Saturday.

Haley Sandridge had 13 points for Ridgeland (1-7), who enjoyed a 59-31 edge on the boards. Sandridge had nine rebounds, while nearly half of those 59 rebounds were pulled down by senior Brylee Dunn, who cleaned the glass with 25 rebounds to go with her 12 points.

Fran King and D'Erika Ervin each collected eight points. Ervin also had six rebounds, while Hailey Bryant had seven points and five boards.

Macey Gregg had five steals and set yet another career-high in points with 41, breaking her own personal mark of 33 this past Tuesday. Gregg had 30 in Friday's win over Coahulla Creek and has 104 total points in her last three games.

Zarria Nelson added four points for LFO (5-4), followed by Milijah Williams with three.

In the boys' game, the Warriors scored an impressive 80-51 victory. LFO is now 4-5 overall, having won three in a row and four of its last five after an 0-4 start to the season.

LFO led 32-19 at halftime and did most of its damage in the fourth quarter where the Red-and-White outscore scored the Panthers, 26-9.

Ruddy Ware had 23 points in the victory, followed by Jacob King with 19, Andrew Brock with 13 and Jackson Herrod with 10.

Fred Norman had 22 points for Ridgeland (3-5). Markeith Montgomery had 13 points, followed by Christian Battle with 10.
