Oakwood Christian Eagles

Lexie Asher and Annika Green both recorded double-doubles as the Oakwood Christian Lady Eagles picked up a 35-18 home win over Rhea County (Tenn.) Academy on Tuesday.

Asher had 12 points and 11 rebounds, eight coming on the offensive end, while Green went for 10 points and 11 boards. Grayson Broadrick finished with seven points, while Madi Phillips, Mary Ownby and Ashley Keith had two points apiece.

The Eagles trailed 29-17 at halftime, got the gap down to four in the fourth quarter, but got no closer in a loss to the Warriors from Dayton.

Garrison Baggett had nine points, followed by eight from D.J. Terry, John Jacob McSpadden and Jacob Wellwood. Terry was also 2-of-3 from behind the arc. Andrew Phillips, Caleb Epperson and Phillip Davis added four points each. Woody Hass had just three as he suffered an ankle injury in the second quarter.
