The Oakwood Christian Eagles began Thursday on a 12-2 run and ended on a 22-7 run to take down Cleveland Christian, 73-48, for their second win of the season.
OCA (2-10) led 34-23 at halftime as they made it two wins in their last three games. Garrison Baggett had 20 points to go with seven boards. Woody Hass added 19 on 4-of-5 shooting from the 3-point line, while collecting five rebounds, three assists, two steals and a block. John Jacob McSpadden finished with 13 points, five rebounds and two steals in the decisive victory.
D.J. Terry finished with eight points, followed by Tyler Epperson with three. Phillip Davis, Cory Taylor, Trevor Hobbs, J.J. Lanham and Andrew Phillips each had two points in the win. Davis and Epperson were also praised for their work on the boards. Davis had 10 rebounds to go with six assists and Epperson had seven rebounds, five assists and a block.
OCA finished with 39 rebounds and 21 assists as a team.

In the girls' varsity game, the Lady Eagles suffered just their third setback of the season against the visitors from Calhoun.
Annika Green led OCA (9-3) with 14 points, adding 10 boards and four blocks. Mary Ownby had six points and three steals. Madi Phillips added five points, while Lexie Asher came up with four points and 10 rebounds.
Lily Green and Grayson Broadrick rounded out the scoring with three points and one point, respectively.
