The LFO Warriors and Lady Warriors swept a pair of subregion home games against Murray County on Friday.
LFO boys 71, Murray County 43
The Warriors took control for good in the second half by limiting the Indians to 14 points over the final two quarters.
Ruddy Ware had one of his best games of the year with 27 points, five assists and three steals. Jacob King had a dozen rebounds to go with his five points. Justin Trammell finished with 11 points and Patryk Gilbert had eight.
LFO girls 43, Murray County 37
The Lady Warriors turned in another solid performance on the defensive end, holding the Lady Indians to just 23 percent shooting from the field.
Macey Gregg had 24 points, seven rebounds and blocked five shots, while Anna Rountree had seven points to go with eight rebounds. Milijah Williams had five points and five rebounds, while Zarria Nelson pulled down 10 boards, collected two steals and blocked three shots.
The Lady Warriors moved to 8-10 overall, 4-3 in region play and 2-1 in the subregion, while the LFO boys are now 6-10 overall, 4-3 in 6-AAA and 2-1 in 6-AAA North.
LFO will head to Rossville on Saturday to take on Ridgeland.
