The LFO Warriors and Lady Warriors both picked up 52-48 victories on the road at Murray County on Tuesday night and both teams took a similar path to get there.
The Lady Warriors, who trailed for most of the game, would outscore the Lady Indians 17-6 in the fourth period to tie the score at 44 before picking up the win in overtime.
Macey Gregg scored all eight points for LFO (13-11, 7-5) in the extra session. The junior would go 9-of-10 from the charity stripe and finish with 29 points, while also picking up six steals. Milijah Williams had 11 points in the win, while Jerriale Jackson finished with six points and six rebounds.
In the nightcap, the Warriors (9-13, 6-6) were down five points at halftime and down five entering the fourth quarter, but would break the Indians' hearts after outscoring them 19-10 in the final eight minutes.
Ruddy Ware led all scorers with 16 points for the Warriors. Patryk Gilbert had 11 points and Jacob King added eight.
LFO will close out the regular season on Friday with a pivotal doubleheader against North Murray back in Chatsworth. The Lady Warriors will begin the action at 7 p.m.
