The LFO Warriors and Lady Warriors traveled down Highway 2 to face longtime nemesis Ridgeland on Saturday and came away with a pair of victories in the non-region contests.
In the boys' game, the Warriors (7-10) drained 10 3-pointers and used a huge fourth quarter to pick up a 66-58 win over the Panthers.
Ridgeland (5-11) was up 35-31 at halftime and extended its lead to nine points going into the final quarter. However, LFO would outscore Ridgeland 23-6 in the final eight minutes as they rallied for the win.
Fresh off of a 27-point performance in Friday night's win over Murray County, Ruddy Ware connected on five 3-pointers and finished with 25 points. Jacob King had 18 points in the win, while Patryk Gilbert had 13 points, including three 3-pointers.
Fred Norman had a team-high 23 points for Ridgeland. Markeith Montgomery added 14 and Christian Battle finished with 10.
In the girls' game, Macey Gregg scored 11 of her 23 points in the fourth quarter as the Lady Warriors (9-10) picked up a 51-42 victory.
Gregg had a big night at the free throw line as she connected on 9-of-10 attempts. Milijah Williams had 11 points for LFO, while Maia Payne finished with six.
Brylee Dunn 15 points to lead the way for Ridgeland (3-13), while Haley Sandridge, D'Erika Ervin and Hailey Bryant had eight points each.
