The LaFayette Ramblers improved to 7-0 with a 63-47 come-from-behind victory at Trion on Monday.
Trion led 30-26 at halftime, looking for the upset. However, the Ramblers took a one-point lead, 42-41, by the end of the third quarter before blowing out the Bulldogs in the fourth, 21-6.
Andrew Pendergrass had 19 points, including five 3-pointers. Alex Kelehear scored eight of his 16 points in the fourth. Dee Southern added 15 points, Jon Morgan dropped in 10 and Stone Graham chipped in with three.
Jarrett Gill scored 11 of his 13 in the first quarter for Trion and Brier Ingle added 12.
The girls' contest saw the Lady Bulldogs jump out to an 11-2 lead after the first quarter before holding on for a 45-40 non-region victory. The Lady Ramblers dropped to 1-7 with the loss.
Individual scoring had not been provided as of press time.
LaFayette will host Coahulla Creek on Tuesday.
