Fran King and D' Erika Ervin both hit a pair of 3-pointers in the final minute of the game to lead the Ridgeland Lady Panthers to a stirring 57-54, come-from-behind victory over Trion on Tuesday.
King finished with 14 points and Ervin added 13. Brylee Dunn led all scorers with a game and season-high 25 points. She also had 13 boards and three blocks for the Lady Panthers, now 2-7 and winners of two straight.
There would be no comeback for the Panthers in the nightcap as the Black-and-White fell behind 24-5 after one quarter and never recovered in a 60-28 loss.
Fred Norman had eight points for Ridgeland (3-6), followed by Christian Battle with six and Jacori Grogins with four.
Both Ridgeland teams are scheduled to play in a tournament at Sonoraville starting Dec. 28.
