The Heritage Generals and Lady Generals broke out the brooms in Fort Oglethorpe on Tuesday night, sweeping rival LFO in a pair of non-region games.
In the opener, the Lady Generals (7-4) jumped out to a 17-8 lead after one quarter, took an eight-point lead at halftime and stretched out their lead in the second half.
Emily Wiley had a huge night for the Navy-and-Red with 27 points and 15 rebounds. Reagan Armour added 12 points and pulled down nine rebounds. Ansley Bice came through with 11 points, seven rebounds and seven assists, while Sarah Bandy had 11 points with three 3-pointers.
Macey Gregg hit four threes and finished with 20 points for the Lady Warriors (5-5). Milijah Williams and Maia Payne had six points each. Payne's points came on a pair of shots from behind the arc.
Heritage's boys led 22-17 after the first quarter, but outscored the Warriors by double digits in each of the remaining three quarters to claim a 79-48 victory.
Cole Wilcox had a game-high 20 points for the Generals (6-5) in the win, followed closely by Will Allen's 19. Luke Grant finished with eight points, while Cade Collins and Adam Thacker chipped in with seven points apiece.
LFO (4-6) got 11 points from Patryk Gilbert and nine from Ruddy Ware. K.K. Rowe and Cameron Gregg added six points each.
LFO will host Trion on Friday night, while Heritage will be off until the Best of Preps tournament Dec. 28-30 at Chattanooga State.
