The Gordon Lee Lady Trojans stormed out to an 18-2 lead after one quarter on Friday night and won their season opener, 37-20, at Class AA Temple.
Faith Alexander had 14 points for the Navy-and-White, who led 24-8 at halftime and held the Lady Tigers to single digits in all four quarters.
Samantha Belue added seven points, while Abby Dalton had six on a pair of 3-pointers.
Ruby Collins had eight points for Temple.
In the boys' game, Hayden Murphy had all 13 of his points in the fourth quarter and overtime as the Trojans outlasted the Tigers, 68-58.
Gordon Lee scored 19 points in the final quarter of regulation to send the game to an extra session where the Trojans outscored Temple, 14-4.
Justin Wooden had a game-high 20 points in the win, followed by Kannen Derryberry with 15, including three 3-pointers.
Both Gordon Lee teams are scheduled to play at Gordon Central on Saturday, starting at 3 p.m.
