The Gordon Lee Trojans trailed 50-39 entering the fourth quarter Friday night at Bowdon, but outscored the Red Devils, 23-7, and picked up their first subregion victory of the season in stunning fashion, 62-57.
Jacob Dyer and Hayden Murphy each had 15 points for Gordon Lee (8-6, 1-4). Zander Smith added 11 points, followed by Jack Solmon with seven and Kannen Derryberry with six.

In the night's first game, the Lady Devils led wire-to-wire and used a big second-half by Maci Holloway and Rylee Robinson to pull away for the win.
Holloway had 21 points and went 11-of-13 at the free throw line, while Robinson added 16 points. The duo combined for 27 points in the second half, 15 in the fourth quarter alone.
Faith Alexander had 12 points for the Lady Trojans, who saw their overall record drop to 7-7, while they fell to 3-2 in subregion play. Sam Belue had 10 points and Gracey Kruse finished with five.
Gordon Lee will host Coosa in a non-region doubleheader on Saturday, starting at 2:30 p.m.
