Georgia Northwestern Bobcats

The Florida College Falcons and Lady Falcons both came to the Rossville Athletic Center on Saturday sporting top four rankings in the USCAA's Division I national poll and neither did anything to leave any doubts as to just how good they are.

The Lady Falcons, tied for fourth in the latest poll, cruised to a 76-37 victory, while the third-ranked Falcons racked up 72 first-half points in a 94-62 win in the day's second contest.

The Falcons led 41-21 at halftime and kept up the pressure in the second half as they improved to 17-8 on the year.

Tori Harvey had 16 points and 12 rebounds for the Lady Bobcats (9-7) in the loss, while Madison Lewis added a 10-point, 11-rebound double-double.

Falcons' sharpshooter Jacob Roark did not have a single point in the second half, but what he did in the first half more than made up for it.

Roark was a perfect 8-for-8 from the 3-point line and dropped in 24 points in the first 20 minutes. The Falcons (19-5) were up 28-8 after just six minutes and went a ridiculous 17-of-22 from behind the arc in the first half as they stormed out to the big halftime advantage.

Daniel Parrish was 6-of-11 from long range for the Bobcats (3-17) and 5-of-9 in the first half. He would finish with a season-high 20 points, while Cole McKeehan poured in a season-high 18. Traydal Autry battled bigger opponents for 10 points and nine boards, while Tyler Phillips finished with eight points.

Both Georgia Northwestern teams will be back at home on Tuesday. The Lady Bobcats will take on Georgia Gwinnett College at 5 p.m., while the men will do battle with North Carolina's Barber-Scotia College at 7.
