The LFO Warriors scored three times in the bottom of the fourth inning to take the lead and tacked on two insurance runs an inning later to score a 6-3 home win over Dade County on Friday night.
The Warriors (4-2) collected nine hits, all singles, and continued to terrorize opposing catchers by swiping 10 total bases.
Brice Donnahoo and Andrew Brock each had two hits and three stolen bases. Jackson Herrod had two hits and drove in two, while Jacob Flanagan also had two hits. Jarrett McAfee and Giovanni Barroso had one RBI apiece in the victory.
Riley Mosier got the win. He pitched four innings, allowing three earned runs on six hits and two walks. He finished the game with two strikeouts. All three of Dade County's runs came in the top of the third inning as they briefly took a 3-1 lead. Herrod got a three-inning save, allowing one walk and one hit with one strikeout.
LFO will face Ridgeland in the first game of the Catoosa County Children's Fund Baseball Classic on Saturday at AT&T Field in Chattanooga. First pitch is scheduled for 11 a.m.
