There are three teams from Region 6 currently ranked in the Class A Public School top 10 and two of them met in Chickamauga on Tuesday evening.
No. 2-ranked Gordon Lee got four strong innings on the mound from freshman Jake Poindexter and the Trojans used a big first inning to take down No. 8 Bowdon, 6-1, in the region opener for both teams.
