Gay Elaine Pennington Anderson, 84, Ringgold, Ga.

It is with great sadness that the family of Gay Elaine Pennington Anderson, 84, of Ringgold, Georgia announces her passing on Friday, December 1, 2017 at her residence.

A native of Celina, Tennessee, she has lived in the Ringgold area for the past 53 years and was formerly of Cookville, Tennessee. She was a member of the East Ridge Church of Christ faith.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Leo D. Anderson; and parents, Oscar Glenn and Rosemary Alsup Pennington.

She will lovingly be remembered by two daughters, Dawn (Mark) Matlock of Knoxville, TN., and Rosemary James of LaFayette, GA.; Forever remembered by five grandchildren, Shawn (Lacey) Bible, Ashley (Erin) Bible, Geoff James, Dylan Matlock and McKenzie Matlock; seven great grandchildren, Lyla Bible, Hattie Bible, Alex Bible, Oliver Bible, Ava James, Sydney Chandler, and Gavin Chandler; other beloved family members, Lance James, Kristie Lonsford, Brent (Chardel) James and Ronda (Terry) McDaniel, Nicole Lonsford, and Hannah Weitz and their families.

Graveside services: 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Minister Charles Cochran officiating.

Andy Earl Bailey, 71, Chickamauga, Ga.

Andy Earl Bailey, 71, of Chickamauga, GA. went to be with the Lord on Monday. December 4, 2017.

He was proud to serve his country in the USMC serving a tour of duty in Vietnam and was a member of the Awakening Church in Rossville, GA.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Olan and Ruth Bailey; two brothers, Jimmy and Doug Bailey.

He is survived by his loving wife, Elise Bailey; children, Andy Bailey, Jr., Tim Bailey, Stewart Bailey, Tim Hughes Bailey, Lindsey Bailey, Lori Winslett, Miriam Butler, Ron and Chuck Winslett; brother, Perry Bailey; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral service: Wednesday, December 5, 2017 at the Awakening Church at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Eddie Allen, Rev. John George and Rev. David Hammontree officiating.

Interment: Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.

Visitation: Tuesday, Dec. 5th from 7-9 p.m. and prior to the service on Wednesday, Dec. 6th at the Awakening Church located at, 97 Cross St. Rossville, GA. 30741.

Margaret Earnestine White Suttle, 91, LaFayette, Ga.

Mrs. Margaret Earnestine White Suttle, age 91, of LaFayette, Georgia passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017.

She is the widow of the late William Paul (Bill) Suttle, and was preceded in death by her parents, Harry White and Adella Jones White.

She was a member of Happy Home Baptist Church, retired from Northwest Georgia E.O.A., and as a Librarian at Hill High School.

She is survived by her son, Gerald (Wanda) Suttle; daughters, Paula A. London, Margaret L. (Johnnie) Grate, Angelia A. (Terry) Marsh, Audrey E. (James) Perry; twelve grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren; one sister, Francis Jarrett; special friend, Laura Pullum; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Homegoing service: Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Happy Home Baptist Church, 704 North Chattanooga Street, LaFayette, with Minister Carlman Jaffar as Eulogist and Pastor Terrance Hambrick, presiding.

Visitation: At the church one hour before the service.

Interment: LaFayette Cemetery.
