Michelle Leanne Rogers, 31, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, passed away Saturday August 26, 2017.
She was born in Weisbaden, Germany and had lived in the Ringgold area for the last decade. She was a member of Flat Top Independent Baptist Church and an avid animal lover. She was preceded in death by a sister, Andrea Rogers and brother, Bradley Paul Rogers.
She is survived by her father, Brian Rogers of Ooltewah, TN; mother, Jennifer Cummings Rogers of Tunnel Hill, GA; grandparents, Melvin and Louise Cummings of Dunlap, TN, James and Jeanette Byerley of Calhoun, TN and Don and Pat Rogers of Topeka, KS; great grandmother, Doris Hester of Ringgold, GA; sister, Angela Denise (Jason) VanAllman of Chattanooga, TN; niece, Cheslee VanAllman; uncles, Lyle Cummings, Jeff Cummings, Bradley Rogers; aunts, Melody Majors, Amanda Winkler and Becky Kuzniak; and numerous extended family & friends.
Funeral services: 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 31, 2017 in the Wallis-Stewart Chapel with Rev. Mark Harwood officiating.
Burial: Gordy Memorial Gardens.
Visitation: 5 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday and prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Alice Mae Campbell, 84, Chattanooga, Tenn.
Alice Mae Campbell, 84, of Chattanooga, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 28, 2017 in a local healthcare facility.
Alice was born in Gruetli-Lagger, Tennessee on September 21, 1932 to the late Herbert Richard and Ona Kathleen Nussbaum. She has lived most of her life in the Chattanooga/North Georgia area. Alice was a long time member of East 34th Street Baptist Tabernacle in Chattanooga. She loved cooking, taking care of her family and friends, quilting with her lady friends from church and spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, John Homer Campbell, son, Ronald Lee Campbell and a brother, Herbert T. Nussbaum.
Survivors include her daughter, Kathleen "Marie" (Wendall) Barnes, son, H. Stanley (Mary) Campbell, brother, George Edward (Marie) Nussbaum, grandchildren, Allen (Jennifer) Barnes and Paul Campbell, great-grandchildren, Allana (Jared) Morris, Laurel and Ella, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services: 1:00 PM on Friday, September 1, 2017 in the South Crest Chapel with Reverend Garland Odom officiating.
Burial: Swiss Colony Cemetery, Gruetli-Laager,TN.

Opal Thomas, 69, Chattanooga, Tenn.
Opal Thomas, 69, of Chattanooga, passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2017 in a local hospital.
Opal was born in Chattanooga on June 13, 1948 to the late Emmitt and Sarah Bruce and has lived in the Lookout Valley Community for the past 30 years. Opal was of the Church of Christ faith and enjoyed being a homemaker. She also loved fishing, playing Candy Crush Saga, working in her garden, watching western movies, spending time with her children and grandchildren and cooking meals for her family. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by two sisters, Edith Patterson and Melinda Ellen Bruce, and two brothers, Miles Houston Bruce and James Kenneth Bruce.
Survivors include her husband, Ashton Thomas, her son, Dewayne (Crystal) Rachels, daughters, Trina Poe, Tonia (Mickey) Labanowitz, Paula Pierce, Stephanie Rachels, eight step-sons, three step-daughters, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, two brothers, Randy Bruce & David (Sylvia) Bruce and two sisters, Liz Hawkins and Dot (Kenneth) Blevins.
Funeral services: 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 31, 2017 in the South Crest Chapel with Dewayne "DJ" Rachels officiating. Interment will follow in the Sarah Chapel Cemetery.
