Phyllis Ann Madaris Moses age 65, of LaFayette, GA passed away Monday – October 2, 2017.
She was born in Chickamauga, GA to the late Ralph Franklin Madaris and Catherine Dixon Madaris. She was a lifelong resident of the LaFayette area and enjoyed taking care of others. She was a Certified Nurse Assistant and had worked with Hutcheson Hospice and was the former owner/operator of Heavenly Haven Assisted Living Home. She was a member of Gospel Light Christian Fellowship in LaFayette, GA.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister: Donna Stoker.
She is survived by her husband: Alvin D. Moses, their children: Serena Kay Moses Dixon, Tonia Kathleen Moses all of LaFayette, GA, Alvin Lee Moses of Ooltewah, TN, sister: Brenda Madaris of Ringgold, GA, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Thursday from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Friday from 11:00 am – 9:00 pm and Saturday morning until the funeral.
Funeral services: Noon – Saturday – October 7, 2017 in the chapel with Pastor Tim Dennison officiating.
Burial: LaFayette City Cemetery – LaFayette, Georgia.

Herman Nave, 84, Chickamauga, Ga.
Herman Nave, age 84 of Chickamauga, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2017.
He was a lifelong resident of Chickamauga and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Herman severed his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict and retired from Combustion Engineering after 36 yrs. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle, who will be greatly missed.
Herman was raised and preceded in death by Mommy and Poppy Nave.
He is survived by his loving wife, of 60 yrs., Sandra Nave; sons and daughter-in-law, Michael & Lisa Nave, and Mark Nave; granddaughter, Heather (John) Millican; great grandchild, Noah Luke; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service: 1:00 pm on Friday, October 6, 2017 in the Chickamauga City Cemetery, with Rev. Doug Jordan officiating.
Visitation: 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday and prior to leaving for the service on Friday.

Mrs. Margaret "Teresa" Chase 61 of LaFayette departed this life Tuesday October 3, 2017.
Teresa was a lifelong resident LaFayette and of the Baptist faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Josephine Frashier, grandson, Hunter Chase and a nephew, Casey Rackley.
Survivors include husband, Marvin Chase, Daughters, Judy (Lamar) McClure, Ashley (Mikie) Smith, Son, Marvin (Kristy) Chase all of LaFayette. Grandchildren, Taylor Haygood, Eric (Autumn) Chase, Caitlin Chase, Madison McClure, Gage Chase, Mason Smith, Gracie Smith, Rylee McClure, Bellah Smith, Kayden Smith, Jessica (Josh) Locke and Cody McClure. Great Grandchildren, Kinsade Chase, Kylie Chase and Eric Chase, Jr. Sisters, Pam (Kenneth) Tredway, Victoria (Lewis) Crabtree, Joanie (Marc) Keys, Lisa (Larry) Dover, Sharon (Ricky) Pope and Anita (Chip) Crowe. Brothers, Bo (Ann) Frashier and Chuckie Frashier. Several Nieces and Nephews, aunts and uncles also survive.
Funeral service: 3:00 p.m. Saturday in the LaFayette Chapel of Wilson Funeral Home.
Visitation: Friday 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and prior to the service on Saturday.
Interment: Estelle Cemetery.
