Mary Ledford Jeffery, 84, of Rossville, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, February 13, 2018.

She was of the Baptist faith and was an avid bowler for over 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John H. Jeffery; daughter, Brenda Jeffery; 3 brothers; 2 sisters.

She is survived by her children, John "Steve" Jeffery and Sharon Hendrix; 3 grandchildren, David Hendrix, Jessica Hendrix, Laura Shelby; 2 great grandchildren, Elizabeth Hendrix and Nichole Gardner; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service: 11:00 AM, Friday, February 16, 2018 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Rev. Dennis Chambers officiating.

Burial: Lakewood Memory Gardens South.

Visitation: 3:00-8:00 PM, Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the funeral home.

Mary "Slugger" Evelyn Dugger Massey age 81, of LaFayette, GA went home to be with The Lord Tuesday - February 6, 2018.

She was born in Chattanooga, TN to the late William Alonso Dugger, Sr., and Ellena Louise Lieker Dugger Pettigrew. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in LaFayette, GA.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her step-father: Luke Edward Pettigrew and brother: William A. Dugger, Jr.

She is survived by her husband of sixty years: Terry Dean Massey of LaFayette, GA, daughter: Jennifer Lynn Massey of San Francisco, CA, son: Christopher Dean (Melissa) Massey of Dallas, TX, sister: Donna Margio of West Jefferson, NC, grandchildren: Taylor J. Massey and Addyson Massey of Dallas, TX, first cousins: Celia Brock of Rome, GA and Joyce Lee of Ringgold, GA, caregivers: Margaret Stephenson and Rosie Hagwood, several nieces and nephews, and numerous more cousins.

Visitation: Saturday from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Funeral services: Second Baptist Church, LaFayette at 2:00 pm – Sunday, February 11, 2018 with Pastor Mike Peterson officiating.

Interment: Chattanooga National Cemetery.

Hazel Louise Wheeler, 81

Hazel Louise Wheeler, 81, died on Friday, February 15, 2018.

She was born in Hamilton County to the late Aubrey and Bertie Medley. She was employed by Shaw Industries as a roll up operator for 12 years.

Hazel is preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Hesson; brothers, Homer, Carl and Herman Medly

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Glenda Wheeler, Michael Wheeler, Larry and Tammy Wheeler, Daryle Wheeler, all of Flintstone, Jerry and Annette Wheeler of Hixson; daughters, Karen Reed, Renva Brewer and Diana Wheeler all of Ringgold; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside service: 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park with interment to follow after. Pastor Christopher Paradise
