Katherine Williams Johnson, 92, Ringgold, Ga.

Katherine Williams Johnson, 92, of Ringgold, Georgia gained her heavenly reward Sunday, October 29, 2017.

A lifelong resident of the Ringgold area, she was retired from the Catoosa County School System where she worked for 20 years as a secretary at the Ringgold Middle School. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church where she attended the Mary Ruth Hixson Sunday School Class.

She is preceded in death by her husband, C.D. Johnson; parents, Charlie and Edna Williams; sister, Louise Walker; and brother, Gordon Williams.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Don Cardin of Cleveland, TN.; son, Charles Scott Johnson of Ringgold, GA.; sister, Syble Hix of Ringgold, GA.; special caregiver, Domenique Stephens; five grandchildren, Andrew (Casey) Stephens, Chris Stephens, Robby (Domenique) Stephens, Corry (Lauren) Johnson and Angel (Jeremy) Morgan; six great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services: 11:00 A.M. Tuesday October 31, 2017 in the funeral home chapel with Corry Johnson and Rev. Michael Kirby officiating.

Interment: Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.

Visitation: Monday from 4-7 P.M. and Tuesday from 9 A.M. until funeral time at the funeral home.

Brittany Rose Stepanek, 29, Rossville, Ga.

Brittany Rose Stepanek, 29 of Rossville, passed away Friday, October 27, 2017.

She was born in Dalton, Georgia on November 1, 1987 and had lived in the North Georgia area for most of her life. She was employed with NHC of Rossville for nearly 10 years and was a loving and devoted daughter, sister and mother who will be truly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richi Goodrum and grandmother, Betty Lou Ratcliff.

Survivors include her mother, Judy Stepanek & (Chip Shaver); children, Alyssa Howard & Richi Howard; fiancé, Joey Wright all of Rossville, GA; twin brother & sister-in-law, Travis & (Amber) Stepanek of LaFayette, GA; sister & brother-in-law, Tabatha & (Martin) Nowicki of Virginia; two nieces, Aubrey Stepanek and Maya Nowicki; nephew, Landon Stepanek and numerous extended family & friends.

Celebration of Life service: 7:30 on Saturday, November 4, 2017 in the funeral home parlor.

Burial will be private.

Visitation: 6:00 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Jerry Wayne "Jai" Cooper, 36, Mulga, Ala.

Jerry Wayne "Jai" Cooper, 36 of Mulga, Alabama passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017.

He was born in Shelbyville, Tennessee but had lived in the North Georgia area for most of his life and was a member of North Highlands Baptist Church in Hueytown, AL. Jai enjoyed fishing and was the Owner & Operator of Welcome Home Resale, where his passion for restoring furniture and the love of antiques truly inspired him. He was a loving and devoted son, brother and friend who will be truly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his parents, Jerry & Carolyn Cooper; sister, Jessica Cooper all of Rock Spring, GA; partner, Silas Campbell of Birmingham, AL and numerous extended family & friends.

Funeral services: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2017 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Pastor Joe Kitchens officiating.

Burial: Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.

Lois "Re Re" Wright, 55, Chattanooga, Tenn.

Lois Marie "Re Re" Wright, 55, of Chattanooga, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017 in a local hospital.

Marie was born in Jacksonville, Florida but had spent the greater part of her life in the Chattanooga area and was employed by Blue Cross/Blue Shield for many years. She loved her family and was always helping in any way needed. Marie was very crafty and enjoyed dirt track racing.

She was preceded in death by her father, Wendell McDaniel, and father-in-law, Arby Wright, Sr.

Survivors include her husband of thirty years, Robert Manuel Wright, Sr.; mother, Jeanne McDaniel; children, Robert M. (Chrissy) Wright, Jr., Christopher G. Wright, and Adam F. Wright; grandchildren, Phillip M. Wright, Brandon A. Wright, and Alexis M. Wright; sisters, Barbara A. (Greg) Wright, Juanita F. (James) Wright, and Norma (Greg) Landreth; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Funeral services: Tuesday, October 31st at 11:00 a.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Rev. Tim Turnipseed officiating.

Interment: Greenwood Cemetery.
