Stacy Yvonne Cripps McAlister, 42, of Ringgold, Georgia passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018, surrounded by her family.
A lifelong resident of the Ringgold area, she was the Manager of Chilis in Chattanooga and was of the Baptist faith.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother and step-grandfather, Hubert and Ruth Hawkins; two grandfathers, William P. Bridges Jr. and James S. Cripps; and father-in-law, Harry Wales McAlister.
Stacy is survived by her husband of 19 years, Harold McAlister of Ringgold, GA.; two daughters, Maleah Grace and Sydney Yvonne McAlister both of Ringgold, GA.; step-daughter, Madison (Jeremy) Garren of Ringgold, GA.; parents, L.C. and Sharon Bridges Cripps of Tunnel Hill, GA.; brother, Daniel Brett (Amy) Cripps of Dalton, GA.; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jeanne Eleanor and Fredrick Murray of Hixson, TN.; grandmother, Nellie Jean Cripps of Spencer, TN.; aunt, Selina (Wayne) Denham of Ooltewah, TN.; uncle, Phillip (Wanda) Bridges of Tunnel Hill, GA.; two sisters-in-law, Susan Thomas of Chattanooga, TN., and Betsy (Howard) Ray of Ooltewah, TN.; three grandchildren, Jossayln McAlister, Ryleigh Garren and Taylor Garren; special lifelong friends, Betsy Laskowski, Teresa McCurdy, Abbey White, Kari Owens, Melissa Capehart, Amy Raub and Erica Butler; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services: 2:00 P.M. Monday, January 29, 2018 in the funeral home chapel.
Visitation: Sunday from 2-8 P.M. and Monday from 12:00 P.M. until funeral time at the funeral home.

Charles Lee Robinson, 69, Rossville, Ga.
Charles Lee Robinson, 69, of Rossville, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 in a local hospital.
Mr. Robinson was born in Valley Head, Alabama on November 1, 1948 to the late Marvin and Katherine Robinson. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and served in Vietnam from 1968 until 1970 where he was the recipient of the Purple Heart and Bronze Star Medal. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing, hunting, racing and spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Robinson is also preceded in death by his wife Mary Louise Robinson.
Survivors include his son, Chuck L. Robinson, grandchildren, Cassidy, Cason, Caiden, Cellan and Lathan, sister, JoAnn Mullins, 2 nieces, 1 nephew and uncle, Don Adams.
Funeral services: 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 in the South Crest Chapel with Rev. Darrell Broome officiating.
Interment: Lakewood Memory Gardens South.

Ronald Parks, 59, of Chickamauga, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 in a local hospital.
Mr. Parks was born in Ringgold, Georgia on December 10, 1958 to the late James and Myrtle Parks and has been a life-long resident of the North Georgia area. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed working on cabinets and playing darts.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Lamar Parks, one sister, Janie Chard and daughter, Angela Michelle Nennessee.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Mary Parks, daughters, Jennifer Webber and JoAnn Sims, grandsons, Gabriel and Zachariah Sims and two sisters, Linda (Larry) Templeton and Sherry (Harold) Peters.
Funeral services: 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 in the South Crest Chapel with Larry Templeton officiating.

Peggy Jean Lambert Fitzgerald, age 71 of Ringgold, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018.
She was born to the late E.D. and Dovie Elizabeth York Lambert in Bridgeport, AL, has been a resident of North Georgia since 1960 and was of the Christian Faith. Peggy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, of 45 yrs., Clarence M. Fitzgerald; grandchild, Jamie Tomlin; sisters, Mary Lambert Jones and Brenda Prigmore; and brother, Lee Lambert.
Peggy is survived by her daughter, Lynn Flegal; grandchildren, Tiffany (Dustin) Turley, William Flegal, Jr., Ashley Bowman, and Angel Tomlin; 13 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service: 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Visitation: 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Monday, January 29, 2018, all day on Tuesday and prior to leaving the funeral home on Wednesday.

Hilda Marie Jackson McDowell, 89, Ringgold, Ga.
Hilda Marie Jackson McDowell age 89, of Ringgold, Georgia passed away Saturday – January 27, 2018.
She was born in Summerville, Georgia to the late C.W. and Louise Russell Jackson. She was a lifelong resident of the Northwest Georgia area and was of the Baptist faith. She was a former employee of the Peerless Woolen Mill where she worked in the company kitchen and had worked at Ryan’s Steakhouse on Ringgold Road for many years where she was known as "Serge."
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Alvy Carl McDowell, Jr., daughters: Jackie Jackson, Judy Gross, Susie McDowell, daughter-in-law: Mary Jane McDowell and ten siblings.
Survivors include her sons: Brent (Pam) McDowell of Gastonia, NC, Charles McDowell of Ringgold, GA, Mike (Lisa) McDowell of Valdosta, GA, daughter: Lisa Hill of Cleveland, TN, brother: Jimmy (Billie) Jackson of Chatsworth, GA, fourteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Monday from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Tuesday morning prior to the service.
Funeral services: Noon – Tuesday - January 30, 2018 in the Fort Oglethorpe chapel with Robert Chumley officiating.
Burial: Chattanooga Veterans National Cemetery.

Peggy Ireton, 83, Chickamauga, Ga.
Peggy Ireton, 83, of Chickamauga, passed away January 20, 2018.
Peggy was born in Bristol, Va. to parents Oscar and Lillian Mumpower Helton. Peggy lived in California for many years before moving to Chickamauga over 27 years ago.
Ms. Ireton is preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Lillian Helton, son; Ross Smith, daughter: Beverly Ross & brothers; Charles Helton & Ronny Helton.
Survivors include children; Michael Smith, Scott Ireton and Susan Ireton, sister; Jean Smith, 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Peggy’s request was to be cremated and there will be no services.
