Timothy "Tim" Eugene Wallin, age 55, of LaFayette passed away Thursday, August 24, 2017.

He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and was employed with Fred’s in LaFayette.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Earline Green Wallin.

He is survived by his daughter, Amber (Mike) Cleghorn; sons, Andy Wallin and Doug Wallin all of LaFayette; father, Gene Wallin of LaFayette; brothers, Rev. Mike (Dana) Wallin of Cleveland, Tenn., and Chris (Tracy) Wallin of Rock Spring; grandchildren, Ethan Wallin, Malachi Wallin, Kaylee Wallin, Daelynn Wallin, Izzabelle Wallin, Kyler Cleghorn, and Bryson Cleghorn; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service: 2 p.m. Monday, August 28, 2017 at Emmanuel Baptist Church 639 S. Main Street, LaFayette with Rev. Dewey Boyd, Rev. Mike Wallin and Pastor Wayne Casteel officiating.

Burial: LaFayette City Cemetery.

Pallbearers: Gerald Gravitt, Kyler Cleghorn, Jake Wallin, Mickey Wallin, Larry Wallin, and Joel Jackson. Honorary pallbearers: Dale Wilson and Lebron Williams.

Visitation: 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Tim will lie in state Monday from

1 p.m. until hour of service at the church.

Shirley Pauline Wiley, 56, LaFayette

Shirley Pauline Wiley, age 56, of LaFayette passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Ralph Ball and Ruby Fowler Ball; sister, Catherine Reese; and brothers, David Ball and Calvin Hindman.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Wiley of LaFayette; daughters, Alicia (Adam) Price of Chickamauga and Amy (David) Miller of LaFayette; sons, Robert Wiley Jr., and John Wiley of LaFayette; sisters, Sheila Gilreath of Chickamauga, Jenny Williams of Ringgold, and Frankie Lindsay of Rocky Face; brother, Mike Ball of Trion; grandchildren, Ethan, Jake, Zach, Steven, Nick, Katlyn, and Gracelyn; and several nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life service: 4 p.m. Saturday, September 2, 2017 in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor Danny Hobbs officiating.

No interment.

Gary Lee Thompson, age 65, of Trion passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Rebekah Witt; sister, Paulette Thompson.

Survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Beth (Jonathan) Witt, of Louisville, Ga; parents, Fred and Evelyn Weaver Thompson of Trion; sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy (Roger) Williams of Rock Spring, Nancy (David) Bruce of LaFayette, Sandy Thompson of LaFayette, Tiny Pinkerton of LaFayette, Tracy (Brent) Riddle of Chickamauga, and Jennifer (Kris) Minton of Ft. Payne, AL.; brothers and sisters-in-law, David (JoAnn) Thompson of Trion, and Carl (Lisa) Thompson of Dalton; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service: 2 p.m. Saturday, September 2, 2017 in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel, with Bro. David Thompson officiating.

Robert Arthur "Jim Bob" Randolph, 42, formerly of Cleveland, Tenn.

Robert Arthur "Jim Bob" Randolph, 42, formerly of Cleveland, TN, passed away Monday, August 28, 2017 in Dover, Delaware.

"Jim Bob" was born in Cleveland on September 26, 1974 and was a graduate of Bradley Central High School Class of 1992. He was employed with Amazon for six years, having recently been promoted to Field Transportation Lead in Colorado. Prior to Amazon, he also worked with Bud’s Sports Bar for fifteen years. He was of the Church of God faith and enjoyed hunting, woodworking, shooting firearms, driving his truck to the beach, watching Christmas movies on the Hallmark channel and cooking chicken wings and pork butts in his smoker. "Jim Bob" also was avid baseball fan, having played on several teams during his youth, and went 3 years to the Dizzy Dean World Series and later winning the series in 1984. He is preceded in death by his father, Jim Randolph and his grandfather, Bob Mosley.

Survivors include his daughter, Mary Caitlyn Hollifield, mother, Brenda Randolph, brother, Jon Lee Randolph, companion, Angela Susann Purcell and her daughter, Rachel Purcell, his grandmother, Virginia Mosley, aunt, Karen Mosley (Paul) Johnson, niece and nephew, Hannah and Eli Randolph and Linda Perry.

Funeral services: 4:00 PM on Sunday, September 3, 2017 in the South Crest Chapel with Bill Winters officiating.

Private burial: Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tennessee.

Kenneth Ray Masters Sr., 71, Ringgold

Kenneth Ray Masters Sr., 71, of Ringgold passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017. Kenneth was known to many as "The loud front porch radio man" on 97.3 99.3 classic country. Mr. Masters was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area where he owned and operated Masters Fence Company in Ringgold. Kenneth was a Vietnam Veteran serving in our United States Navy. Kenneth loved old country music and he could be seen sitting on his front porch listening to his music and waving at the neighbors as they drove by. He loved his dogs and was a NASCAR and Mark Martin fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Bessie Lee Masters; and son, Michael Masters.

Survivors include his son, Kenneth Ray Masters, Jr. of Chickamauga, GA; brother, Fred Masters of Rocky Face, Ga; sisters, Faye Shepherd of Tunnel Hill, GA and Carol Carter of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren, Hunter, Emily, Ashley, and Alenena Masters; and several nieces and nephews.

Lonnie Daniel Oliver, 66, Chickamauga

Lonnie Daniel Oliver, 66 of Chickamauga passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017.

He was born in Stevenson, Alabama to the late John & Lula Oliver and had lived in the Chattanooga & North Georgia areas since the 1970’s. He was employed with Wheeland Foundry as a Maintenance Technician for more than 31 years and was of the Baptist faith. Lonnie loved working on cars and playing his guitar. He was a loving and devoted brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be truly missed by all who knew him. He was also preceded in death by his son, Jason Oliver; two brothers, Charles & Neil Oliver and two sisters, Gladys Foshee & Minnie Green.
