Billy Wayne Corbin

A LaFayette man threaten his wife because, according to him, she had stolen his cell phone and check card, police say.

According to LaFayette Police Department reports:

Billy Wayne Corbin, 54, has been charged with obstruction, disorderly conduct, and terroristic threats/acts.

On Friday, Sept. 18, around 9:45 a.m., police were called to Corbin’s residence, where they found him standing in the front yard, yelling and cursing his wife.

His wife told police that she and her husband were arguing because he had misplaced his phone and check card while drinking the previous night. The wife then left the residence. Corbin went inside but came back out, cursing.

Eventually, police had to taser Corbin.

As police walked Corbin to the patrol vehicle, he said, “When I get out of jail, I’m gonna kill that (expletive) bitch.”
