The Ringgold Elementary School Singers shared their favorite holiday music with friends and family Dec. 12 at Ringgold High School. The beautiful Robin Christian Theater was filled with students, parents and community members as songs of the holidays were performed by the 68-member choir made up of fourth- and fifth-grade students. Rehearsals began in September and the students devoted two afternoons every week to practicing together and learning a fun collection of traditional Christmas carols and fun holiday songs. There was something for everyone to enjoy, including singing, dancing, handbells and special guest performances by school employees. It was a fantastic start to the holiday season. Special thanks to Ginger Bacha and the RES Dance Force; Chris Fowler, who sang and played guitar; Paula Rich, who led the Handbell Choir; and the numerous RES teachers who volunteer their time to assure the Christmas musical is a huge success each year.
