Catoosa County sheriff's detectives are investigating multiple storage unit burglaries at a facility on Mack Smith Road in Rossville.

According to the Catoosa County Sheriff's Department, deputies were dispatched to Mack Smith Mini Storage on Mack Smith Road on Dec. 26 regarding a burglary that'd occurred, which turned out to be one of many.

The victim reported that the lock and been cut off of her unit, and that multiple items were taken from within.

Detectives also discovered that multiple units at the facility had been broken into, reports show.

"There were multiple burglaries at the storage units between Dec. 23 and 26," Detective Dustin Romans said. "Some of the items taken from the storage units included flat-screen TVs, Playstations, Nintendos, antique action figures, vintage shoes, costume jewelry, and DVD players."

Romans said detectives were working with the storage facility to obtain security footage from the grounds to help with the investigation.
