Carla Renae Beaty and Patrick Ross Mason were wed Saturday, April 4, at the Canyon Ridge Golf and Country Club.

Carla Renae Beaty and Patrick Ross Mason were wed Saturday, April 4, at 2 p.m. at the Canyon Ridge Golf and Country Club in Rising Fawn on Lookout Mountain with Neal Brown officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Eddie and Vickie Whitecotton of Flintstone, and Kathy and Charles Cowan of Orange Park, Fla. The bride’s bouquet featured a mixture of brightly colored Gerber daisies and a butterfly symbolizing new life.

The bride’s attendants were her two young daughters, who also escorted her down the aisle, Kaylan and Sara Beaty of Chickamauga. Kaylan wore a sleeveless, watermelon-colored crinkle chiffon A-line dress adorned with beads. Sara wore an ivory sleeveless satin and tulle dress adorned with a watermelon-colored satin sash.

The groom is the son of Donna Coulter Mason of Chickamauga, and Max and Sonja Mason of Hixson, Tenn. Patrick’s daughter Ashton of Fort Oglethorpe stood as his attendant. Ashton also wore a sleeveless, watermelon-colored crinkle chiffon A-line dress adorned with beads.

Music was provided by the bride’s brother, Tommy Whitecotton. It was a mixture of old classics and modern country.

Special out-of-town guests were the bride’s mother and stepfather from Orange Park, Fla.; the bride’s sister, brother-in-law and nephew from Jacksonville, Fla.; the bride’s brother and his guest from Panama City, Fla.; and the groom’s aunts and uncles from Adairsville and Covington.

The reception was held in the outdoor rock pavilion at Canyon Ridge. The food and cakes were catered by Nelda Dunaway. Brightly colored Gerber daisies and large rose arrangements adorned the fireplace. The bride’s cake was a three-tier white buttercream cake adorned with rhinestones and Gerber daisies. The groom’s cake was a rich chocolate cake smothered in chopped Reese’s.

The bride’s school, Rossville Elementary, hosted a shower for the bride.

The couple took a trip to the historic town of St. Augustine, Fla.
