· Elizabeth Lee United Methodist Church, at 139 Cove Rd. in Chickamauga, will conduct communion services at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. tonight, Christmas Eve.

· LaFayette Presbyterian Church, 107 N. Main St., will present a service of lessons and carols at 6 p.m. tonight, Christmas Eve. Everyone is welcome at this service that includes readings of traditional Christmas scriptures, singing of popular carols and candlelight communion.

· Fairview Baptist Church, at 108 Jenkins Rd. in Rossville, is having a Christmas Eve candle light service at 7 p.m. tonight.

COMMUNITY · Blood Assurance asks residents to consider donating blood and “give the gift of life” during this holiday season. Donors must be at least 17-years-old (16-years-old with parental consent) and weigh at least 110 pounds. Donors are eligible to give blood every 56 days.

COMMUNITY · Ruby Red Christmas returns to Ruby Falls from 5-9 p.m. every Friday and Saturday night this month. Guests will experience the sights and sounds of Christmas with carriage rides, acoustical music, apple cider and back this season, roundtrip double decker bus rides from downtown Chattanooga.
