A LaFayette Walmart employee told police two women vandalized her vehicle because they didn't like the Confederate flag on it.

The employee said she went out to her vehicle during lunch break on Friday, Aug. 4, about 8:30 p.m. She said two women — one black and one white — confronted her about the flag on the back of her vehicle. The black woman said, "I can be a rebel, bitch."

The employee said she did not respond and got into her vehicle. The two women began to rock the vehicle from side to side, and she got out to confront them, she told police. As she went back into the store, the two women reportedly continued to curse her.

She called the police, who found scratches and dents on her vehicle.

The two women reportedly had parked near the victim in a white van near the grocery-side entrance.
