"Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" will be July 14, 15, 21 and 22 at 7:30 p.m. and July 16 and 23 at 3 p.m. at the Catoosa County Colonnade, 264 Catoosa Circle, Ringgold, Ga.

Christian Family Theater is very excited to bring their 2017 multi-generational production to the stage at the Ringgold Colonnade this Summer. "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" is one of the most endearing shows of all time by Tim Rice & Andrew Lloyd Webber.

"Joseph" is an irresistible family musical about the trials and triumphs of Joseph, Israel's favorite son, found in the book of Genesis.

"This show will really take you for a ride," says show director Dale Dye. "It is an eclectic mix of characters and song styles including country western, power ballads, a calypso and even a rock number by the King of Egypt who bears a striking resemblance to a king of rock-n-roll."

Joseph is a fun and fresh retelling of the Biblical story of Joseph, his eleven brothers and the coat of many colors. It is a magical musical full of unforgettable songs, including "Those Canaan Days," "Any Dream Will Do," "Close Every Door," and of course "Go, Go, Go Joseph" just to name a few. It’s a toe-tapping, funny, colorful and emotional journey.

"We have a cast of 35 actors, some of whom have performed with various companies and theatres in the area. Some of the cast members are in their very first community theatre production, " says Dye.

The title character, Joseph, is being played by Joseph Watts, along with a trio of beautiful narrators played by Greer Caldwell, Christi Barr and Sara Gard to guide you through the story. The show is under the musical direction of Judy Reich with all the choreography by Christi Barr.

The show is family-friendly production which is great for your family or even your church family. Discount rates are available for groups of 15 or more.
