Catoosa County sheriff's detectives are investigating two vehicle break-in cases in Rossville.

According to the Sheriff's Department, both incidents occurred between the evening of Nov. 10 and the morning of Nov. 11.

The first incident occurred on Lilac Lane, and included the theft of the victim's purse.

The victim told police that medications, cash, and personal documents were inside the stolen purse.

The second incident occurred on Oklawaha Avenue in Rossville, just off Cloud Springs Road, and included an instance of first-degree criminal damage to property.

The victim told police that in addition to her vehicle being ransacked, another vehicle at the residence had the back tires slashed, reports show.

A pocketknife and sleeping pills were stolen during the incident.
