Former Calhoun High standout and current Indianapolis Colts receiver Da'Rick Rogers showed up in the box score after the team's preseason contest at home against the New Orleans Saints on Saturday.

Rogers recorded one catch for eight yards in the Colts' 23-17 loss to the Saints. He now has a catch in all three of the Colts' first three preseason games, with the yardage from those adding up to 67. One of those catches went for a touchdown.

Rogers is one of two former Calhoun High receivers competing to make an Opening-Day roster in the NFL. Kris Durham has also made catches for Detroit as he looks to make the Lions roster in his third season with the team. He played in all 16 games for the Lions last season.

The two will know their fate by Saturday as that will be the NFL teams' deadline to make their final cuts to the active 53-man roster.
