This past weekend the whole team of Grindhouse wrestlers (pictured) qualified to compete in the Georgia Kids State Wrestling Championships. On Saturday, March 1, they will travel to Atlanta and compete for a state title inside the Georgia Dome.
This is the first time a wrestling tournament has ever been held at the Dome. It’s supposed to be the fourth largest tournament in America this year. "They've all worked extremely hard over the last seven months and we're proud of them all," said Grindhouse Wrestling coach Matthew Pitts.
Grindhouse Wrestling School is located in Calhoun that instructs youth wrestlers all the way up through high school wrestlers.
