Former Calhoun High standout and current Georgia player Trent Frix will get a chance to play on one of the biggest stages in college football on Monday.

The senior long-snapper and his Bulldogs’ teammates will take on Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl at 5 p.m. on Monday on ESPN in the first of two College Football Playoff Semifinals.

Georgia goes into the game at 12-1 and coming off a 28-7 victory over Auburn in the SEC Championship Game on Dec. 2 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Frix has been at UGA since 2013 when he joined the team after spending a year at Air Force Academy prep school. He played on the 2011 Calhoun state title team.
