The word of the week was improvement at Calhoun Youth Softball Camp as the Lady Jackets program got an opportunity to work with younger players at getting better in several different areas.

The camp was held Monday through Thursday in two sessions each day. K-4th graders went from 8:30-10 a.m. and 5th-8th graders went from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. More than 30 campers attended total, and each were given a camp t-shirt on the final day of camp on Thursday.

Former UGA and Calhoun High standout Christine Olney served as a guest instructor for camp.
