The Calhoun High girls and boys soccer programs got their chance to give back this week as they hosted their annual youth camp to teach young players more about the game while also having some fun.

The camp ran from Monday through Thursday with the 3-5 year-old group going from 9-10 a.m. and the 6-12 year-old group going from 10:30 a.m. each day for instruction, drills and games. Each camper received a t-shirt on the final day of camp on Thursday.

Calhoun boys head coach Matt Rice said he was impressed by the group of 33 campers combined as they all seemed to have fun, learn and improve over the course of the four-day camp.
