SONORAVILLE INFO: The Lady Phoenix snapped a four-game losing streak at the right time with a sweep (2-0, 7-0) of Lovett in the first round thanks to strong pitching by Kristen Davis and Alyssa Hughes. …They are attempting to get back to the Elite Eight in Columbus for the second time in three years and are also looking for a measure of revenge after it was Morgan County who eliminated them in the first round of State last year. …The two shutouts in the first round pushed the total for the year to seven, and Sonoraville pitchers have allowed two or fewer runs 11 times this season.
