It was a special season on the softball diamond as two teams made it to the Elite Eight in Columbus and one was the final team standing in Class AAA.

Today, the Calhoun Times honors those players that made the great seasons possible for their teams with outstanding individual accomplishments with the announcement of the annual All-County Team.

Calhoun’s Adella Carver and Calhoun’s Lyndi Rae Davis are the 2017 Co-Players of the Year, and Calhoun’s Maggie McBrayer and Sonoraville’s Kristen Davis are the Co-Pitchers of the Year.

Several others were selected to the First Team and Honorable Mention to fill out the rest of the the All-County roster.
