Calhoun’s Adella Carver saved her best high school season for her last as the senior catcher put up incredible numbers offensively and was a key staple defensively behind the plate to help lead the Lady Jackets to the Class AAA State Championship this past Fall.

Carver was rewarded for her great efforts recently as she was named the Georgia Dugout Club Class AAA Player of the Year.

The North Georgia signee was a terror to opposing pitchers as she hit .413 this season with 12 homers, six doubles, one triple and 50 RBIs, including several clutch hits during Calhoun’s 4-0 run at the Class AAA Elite Eight in Columbus.
