Football is a team game, but for a team to be achieve high levels of success individual players have to step up and perform well in big situations.

All three local teams had players do that this past season, including Calhoun’s Brannon Spector, who was crucial to the Jackets’ state-championship run on both sides of the ball. Spector is being named the Calhoun Times All-County Team MVP for his efforts, and teammates Gavin Gray and Bailey Lester are the Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, respectively.

There are also several players who stood out above the rest and are being honored as First-Team selections.
