Sonoraville High competition cheerleading continued their strong start to the season this past weekend when they earned a first-place finish in the JV division at Ringgold. It’s their second first-place finish of the season after taking the top spot at Pepperell on Sept. 16.

On Saturday, the Lady Phoenix competed against Ridgeland, Lafayette, Gordon Central and North Murray. Sonoraville head coach Ginger Reeves said her team did a great job, and she and her assistant coach Taylor Kile continue to see lots of improvement.
