The Sonoraville Lady Phoenix competition squad finished their regular season on a high note last Saturday with a first-place finish at Woodstock High School.

Sonoraville head coach Ginger Reeves said she was proud of her team and they did an awesome job once again. The Lady Phoenix, who are pictured to the right with their trophy from Saturday, have now won two straight varsity competitions after an undefeated JV portion of the schedule.

Sonoraville will now turn their attention to the Region 6-AAA Competition on Saturday at the University of West Georgia. They are aiming for a top four finish to qualify for State the following Saturday in Columbus.

This year’s team, coached by Reeves and assistant coach Taylor Kile, includes: Freshmen Keslei Craddock, Kailee Bearden, Natalie Knight, Raven Passley and Kelsee Phillips; Sophomores Hailey Robinson, Kourtney Semon and Mariah Key; Juniors Faith Austin, Alea Logan and Kelly Rule; Seniors Anna Bramlett, Audrey Carroll, Kirsten Gordon, Ivie Parker and Brianna Towers.
