School Official thanks Sheriff for School Resource Officers

According to Gordon County Sheriff Mitch Ralston, Gordon County School Board Member Chris Johnson was on hand at the Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday to personally thank Sheriff Ralston for the hard work of the Sheriff’s School Resource Officers.

“Thanks for another successful year in the Gordon County School system,” said Johnson. “The Sheriff’s School Resource officers did a great job. They are courteous, efficient, highly visible and create a safe environment in all our county schools. We look forward to continuing our great partnership with the Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff Ralston and his staff always maintain open channels of communications with our superintendent, Dr. Susan Remillard, and her staff.”

“I want to commend each of my deputies who serve as school resource officers,” said Sheriff Ralston. “They all do an outstanding job. They are professional in carrying out their duties and are a credit to my office.”
