Potts resigns as Sonoraville High School principal

After more than thirteen years of service as the lead administrator and thirty-one years in education, Bruce Potts has resigned his position as principal of Sonoraville High School. 

“I am proud of the work we have accomplished in my tenure and will watch with great interest as Sonoraville High School continues to be a learning community actively pursuing a higher standard of excellence,” said Potts in his letter to Superintendent, Dr. Susan Remillard, and other district officials.   

“We appreciate all of the wonderful things Mr. Potts has done for the students of Sonoraville High School and our district, and we wish him all the best as he pursues the next phases of his career,” said Dr. Remillard in response to the resignation.

Mr. Potts plans to relinquish his active role as principal beginning Feb. 21, 2018.
