Morning Pointe residents reap late summer harvest with “Farm to Table” Program

CALHOUN, GA -- Jaime Hibberts, food services director, and Kathy Gundlach and Sue Moyer, residents at Morning Pointe of Calhoun have been busy snapping fresh, local green beans and preparing meals thanks to Morning Pointe’s new Farm to Table program.

The seniors at the assisted living and Alzheimer’s memory care community enjoy being a part of the dining services initiative that brings fresh local foods from the soil to the supper table. The residents enjoy fresh produce from Rise ‘N Shine Organic Farm in Calhoun as they make mealtime more memorable.
