The Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta is holding its Fall Blitz registration night Aug. 19 in more than 60 locations, including Calhoun.
The event is meant for families to "learn about the cool things Girl Scouts has to offer a girl as she counts down to her next adventure," according to the press release. "From the Girl Scout Cookie Program, to activities based around the sciences, and our exciting camps, this will be a great opportunity to explore Girl Scouts."
The community can register, find a local troop, get answers to questions and learn about the upcoming Girl Scout year from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Calhoun Recreation Department, 601 S. River St.
