Seven members of GCHS FFA will compete in the Georgia State FFA Agriscience fair that will be held in Macon on April 26-29, 2017.
The State FFA Agriscience competition is for FFA members who are interested in the science and technology of agriculture. FFA members compete in one of six categories: Animal Systems, Environmental Services/Natural Resource Systems, Food Products and Processing Systems, Plant Systems, Power, Structural and Technical Systems and Social Systems. State finalists were required to conduct a scientific research project pertaining to the agriculture and food science industries and present their findings in a research paper. After being selected as a state finalist competitors present their findings to a panel of judges with a display and report.
